I've really like that you've communicated the scale of the beast. :D I think that makes this creature that much more awesome, being the size of a mountain. Sort of puts it into the "legendary creature" category for me.
Maybe if you pushed the furthest mountains back more by fading them (intense colours in foreground and fading out toward the back to communicate depth) then you'd get an ever better effect. :)
